Why is Nevada Senior Care important to me? I live right here in Sun City Summerlin and my neighbors are my friends. Although I'm not "officially" a senior just yet, my wife of 30+ years is and I'm not that far behind.
Over the last year I have spent almost all of my free time learning about Nevada Senior Care and the resources, options and services available here. If you know of others that you think are relevant and would like to see included let me know. This list is far from complete so I recommend that you check back often to see what new senior care resources were added. I hope that your find this information helpful and if you ever come across a feisty little "fox terrier" being walked in the community her name is Cappi, that's short for Cappuccino, oh, and the woman walking here? My wife, Judy.

It is a great resource for seniors, caregivers and people with disabilities. I think you will be impressed with the HUGE amount of relevant information here. I sure was!
Seriously, if I were a faster typist or knew more about making web pages I would start over and put this link at the top! Division of Aging Services may very well be the most helpful of all.
The first sentence of their mission statement says:
"The mission of the Division for Aging Services is to develop, coordinate, and deliver a comprehensive support service system in order for Nevada's senior citizens to lead independent, meaningful, and dignified lives."
I couldn't have said it better myself and once you take the time to check it out I think you'll agree, I should have put it at as the very first resource!
Well I do have some other Nevada Senior Care resources that I'm sure you will find both helpful and interesting but I will have to recharge my batteries for a bit before I get back here.
Besides its Sunday. I'm off today but Judy has a few items on the "honey do" list for me and then it's off for a long walk with Cappi. Come to think of it maybe I'm better off staying right here.
